Another way to get your L. reuteri started

photo: sachets of MyReuteriâ„¢ starter

Here’s another way to get started on your Lactobacillus reuteri journey: L. reuteri starter sachets.

Each starter sachet contains enough microbes to get started fermenting L. reuteri fermented dairy that, while it looks and smells like yogurt, is not yogurt. While a small amount of inulin is included in each sachet, it would be preferable to add another tablespoon at the start. (In future, the full quantity of inulin will be included.) This is a source of the LRDR strain of L. reuteri that we have studied in both humans and animals to verify that it provides the effects we desire. You can also use sachets to get started making SIBO Yogurt, i.e., the combination of L. reuteri, L. gasseri, and B. subtilis that has been yielding unexpectedly favorable results.

Everything else remains the same: same fermenting temperature, same fermenting duration, same final end-result. While you may want to restore this lost microbe for its physical benefits, pay special attention to mood, attitude, and sleep once you begin consuming, as those tend to reflect the earliest changes with consumption of this microbe.
