It seems that no matter what I have tried, the inulin I add ends up being a clumped, sticky mess, of which, much sticks to my spoon. I think mixing the capsule contents and inulin with cold milk is the problem. I tried one’s woman’s suggestion of capsule contents and milk, but that gave me clumps as well. I then added a bunch of milk to that, then sprinkled the inulin all over the surface. Still a sticky mess. I think my next effort will be to take about 1 or 2 oz of water at about 100 degrees, then add the capsule contents and the inulin to that and get it all to first dissolve. Then put that into my bowl, then add all the milk. I don’t know why inulin and milk make such a sticky substance that is very difficult to dissolve and remove clumps from. Maybe I should have taken more chemistry courses in college.

I switched over to Potato Starch and it has been much easier to mix in with the half and half.
