Hello. I recently started my father in the Undoctored Protocol. He’s been taking Omeprazole for a long time and Flomax for help emptying the bladder. Are there things I should be aware of that could affect his progress and how to work towards getting him off these drugs? I suspect SIBO is likely but haven’t started him on prebiotic fibers just yet. Thanks for reading!

He said a doctor had mentioned H. Pylorie and Barrett’s esophagus. I’ll introduce the pre biotic fiber and see the reaction. I’ll ask him about BPH. So saw palmetto can act as a replacement for flomax? Dosage? Thank you!

Thank you very much for your input. Short term is 15 days or a month and then move to a h2 blocker? the constant acidity in my throat is killing me. I am researching foddmaps to see what other thing is causing it. :(
