I still tend to think omega-3 supplementation comes in not such a high priority within the program principals, although I very much like some of their effects such as provocation of intestinal alkaline phosphatase.

Depends on whether you have high Lp(a) or not. As one who does have high Lp(a), I hold fish oil as a very high priority within program principals. I’m grateful every time I tip it down my throat.

I don’t disagree, although believe omega-6 effects are exaggerated. But let’s at least recognize fish oil is nowhere near top of the list. If there is a cost issue, I would be fine with someone halt on that and fix the rest.

Nope, I cannot agree. For my Lp(a), fish oil is in fact at the top of the list. I believe it helps me continue to be available to fix the rest.

If I had Lp(a), my top of list would be ’no change rule’, followed closely by Vitamin D, eliminations, magnesium, thyroid/gut optimization - and then very lastly fish oil.
