Hi Dr. Davis, and everyone else!
I’m a new inner circle member and this is my first post-I hope I’m doing is correcrectly so that I can get some good feedback!
I’m 48, physically-fit and thin (5’8" 115-125 lbs. depending on how adherent I am to the undoctored, low-carb/grain free diet). Sometimes I do slip and eat corn or potato chips, restaurant fried tater-tots, high carb fruits, or too many nuts. I also drink several hard kombuchas (4.5% alcohol) and/or several cocktails (vodka, filtered water + organic lime) per week. Aside from these obvious problems in my diet, everything I eat is organic, pasture raised or grass fed meat and dairy, humanely raised animals, uncured meats, etc. I also take vitamin D almost every day and Dr. Davis’ magnesium water, but not consistently.
My issue is ugly, swollen/stiff/painful finger joints-arthritis. It’s been progressing one finger at a time for the last 6+ years, leaving only my thumbs and left middle finger not yet disfigured. The pain is annoying but not excruciating, the stiffness and loss of finger strength in inconvenient, but the disfigurement is the most distressing to me. Besides my fingers, greying hair is the only sign that I’m even close to my real age! I’m single but staying healthy, fit and attractive (among other things), keeps me hopeful of meeting a tall, healthy, like-minded, attractive man to help me enjoy these active, empty nest years. One of my regular activities is partner dancing (country swing, west coast swing, etc), so my hands are constantly being seen and held by dance partners.
I don’t expect a magic bullet that will restore my hands to the way they looked 10 yrs ago, but I’d like to stop the progression into the last 3 fingers and have a remission of the pain, stiffness, and swelling in the rest of them.
I’d love to hear testimonials, success stories, advice, and encouragement on changes I should make to see improvement. whenever possible PLEASE suggest organic types/brands and reasonably priced sources of any supplements suggested (fish oil, EPA and DHA, collagen, etc). I know this is a lot to ask, but I believe in being undoctored and the faith Dr. Davis has in using this type of community to obtain knowledge!
Thanks!
Rachel

Hi Rachel, I’m brand new to this forum but have the same finger issues as you. Can you tell me what you’ve found to be helpful since you’ve written the initial question? Thanks
