I don't check my blood pressure often...I was surprised, puzzled and maybe a bit concerned to discover my lifelong low resting pulse of 54 has moved up into the 70s.
It's 5 years since my heart attack and I'm wondering if the pulse increase is a creeping stenosis artifact. Is there a possible benign answer? At any rate I'm doing a cardiac stress test in a week or two...will a stress test give some kind of meaningful answer? I guess yes if it proves more difficult than the last one last year.
Any thoughts or insights will be appreciated...
