What Is Digoxin's Role in Atrial Fibrillation With and Without Heart Failure?

I have CAD, had heart failure four years ago due to high heart beat, and take Digoxin. No problems with it.


Digoxin is indicated for ventricular response rate control in adults with chronic AF, but some newer studies have suggested increased mortality in AF patients without HF who are treated with digoxin. In addition, two studies published in the same issue of the same journal arrived at differing conclusions about digoxin safety. How does this affect your AF patients?
